I found your note on passive-aggressive notes. I found it highly amusing because I live just up the road in Chicheley. You don't see Newport Pagnell getting represented on the internet often!

And another one...

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/unmanned-spy-planes-to-police-britain-886083.html

"The Government is drawing up plans to use unmanned "drone" aircraft currently deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan to counter terrorism and aid police operations in Britain."

I am not sure what worries me most... The fact it is being built by BAE, which inevitably means it will fall out of the sky and onto somebody's house or the fact that I am sure this will end up being used to spy on motorists to get even more money out of them than the hundreds of pounds a minute they are already getting from their "Safety Cameras".
Got to love it all.

I rather liked:

A little late but the scientific investigation comes with the sensible conclusion:

"Twitter is fucking bullshit. Case closed."

I don't know how things work over there, but here (in the Netherlands) there is one hot plate that I am aware of. Seeing as they thus cook all of the burgers on the same feakin' plate, and non veggie burgers tend to leak molten fat, your veggie burgers are probably baked in animal fat anyway.
Seriously, how soddin' dense can you be?
It's not like McDonalds employees are known over here for their high work ethics, or even IQ's. Thinking that they would care if the non-animal foods came into contact with animal products... That's just wishful thinking...

This is an interesting little article on cooking chips called
<a href="http://www.hungryinhogtown.com/hungry_in_hogtown/2007/06/the_horse_crisp.html " title="http://www.hungryinhogtown.com/hungry_in_hogtown/2007/06/the_horse_crisp.html " rel="nofollow">The Horse Crisperer: horse fat french fries</a>
in which the author makes a pretty good case for McD's fries being some of the best in the world.

On the same site, I am in heaven with:
<a href="http://www.hungryinhogtown.com/hungry_in_hogtown/2007/06/flogging-a-dead.html " title="http://www.hungryinhogtown.com/hungry_in_hogtown/2007/06/flogging-a-dead.html " rel="nofollow">Au Pied de Cochon's foie gras poutine with horse fat fries</a>
Bugger. Now I need to go to Montreal.
